Our client is a well established Chartered Accounting Firm close to Brisbane CBD.  They are well known for their friendliness and high standards. The Role
You will be assisting the SMSF and Audit team with the primary purpose being to assist with the accurate and timely servicing of the firms’ clients.  This role will also provide support to the administration team.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Completing tax, accounting and SMSF work
• Managing database and client file maintenance
• Corresponding via telephone, email and face to face with clients
• Covering Reception as required
• Invoicing and managing debt collection
• Managing ASIC and ATO correspondence
• Setting up SMSF & entities
• Reporting
• Setting up data feeds for SMSFs
• Processing transactions for SMSF

About You

You will have

• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to easily develop rapport with clients
• Ethical, professional and discrete
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
• You may come from a larger corporate looking for a small to mid sized team environment

Knowledge/Skills required

• Two years SMSF administration experience
• Strong exposure to Pension Funds
• Experience working with 150+ funds
• Experience working with technical SMSF pensions with complicated assets
• Experience working with real time reporting (month to month)
• Working knowledge of MYOB AE
• Strong working knowledge of SMSF administration software
• Working knowledge of ASIC and ATO Portals
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Understanding of Corporation Actions
• Understanding of Tax Components
• Ideally you will have experience in navigating Supermate

Familiarity with audit flow and entry into software would be well regarded.
