Apply: Legal Counsel, Logistics & Transportation (3-5 PQE)

A global leader in logistics is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join the team based in Singapore. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with handling litigation matters in the transport, logistics and maritime industry. You will also be responsible for advising business stakeholders and conducting trainings on risk management and trade compliance matters.
 
You will be providing legal support and advice to various business units and stakeholders on regulatory as well as corporate commercial matters. As part of the scope, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing of various commercial documents, particularly customer and supplier contracts.
 
Candidates with prior E-commerce, Logistic & Supply Chain Management will be viewed favourably.
 
Requirements:

• At least 3-5 PQE, called to the Singapore Bar
• Experience the transportation, logistics and maritime industry would be beneficial, background in litigation will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with Trade Compliance Regulations/Sanctions will be ideal
• Commercially savvy and solution oriented team-player
• Strong stakeholder management skills
