The role
  • Possess a high understanding of Institutional Banking and Treasury businesses, the relevant products and day to day operations.
  • Execution of end to end Audit process, including planning, fieldwork, risk and control testing and report writing.
  • Identify, test and review the effectiveness of existing controls.
  • Participate in independent reviews of control frameworks, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, frequently liaising with Group Audit, Credit and Technology SME'S.
  • Utilize Data Analytics as a tool in providing insights and collating accurate data.
  • Preparation of Audit reports to be presented to the Audit Committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Continual monitoring of emerging issues or potential risks to the business.
  • Coach and support peers/colleagues;
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in a Business related discipline/CA/CPA/CIA qualified.
  • 5+ years audit experience, preferably at the Manager/Senior level.
  • Exposure and knowledge of Financial markets and banking/investment products.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
  • Experience in Financial Services industry is a must.
  • Data Analytics knowledge/experience is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and excellent written skills are essential.
