Our client is one of the Global Manufacturers in the region.
 
The incumbent will collaborate with the HQ team to balance new product development needs with team capacity and capabilities. Establishes and manages R&D strategy to drives innovation for the APAC region. Facilitate interactions with peers and inter-regional HOD to address issues in the various markets. Coordinate with supply management and raw material suppliers on flexible formulation and new RM evaluation/qualification. Develop and maintain a technical support activity that delivers customer technical support. Build knowledge of customer products and applications. Provide appropriate product recommendations; Support customer’s new product qualification process. Facilitate interactions between technical experts across APAC market and work with HQ.  Re-enforce interaction between R&D AP team and Corporate R&D. Contribute to the development of the scientific expertise of teams. Continue to innovate in order to fine tune innovations and strategy relevant to the APAC region. To be successful in this role, the incumbent needs to possess at least 10-15 years of experience in R&D within Chemical, Polymer or Plastic Industry in APAC region. Strong communication and management skills with the ability to engage senior level executives across the region.
