Currently our Engineering and Construction division is seeking a talented Technical Sales - Account Manager for our client based in Central Queensland region.

This client is a major manufacturer of specialty adhesives, lubricants, coatings and cleaners. As an industry leader our clients products are widely used in the mining, infrastructure and heavy industrial sector.

You may currently be a Maintenance Manager within the Mining sector, or perhaps an Engineer supporting major machinery.   If so, this role would suit you with the right personality and drive to solve technical problems leveraging your industry experience to build long term relationships helping Superintendents and Managers to ensure the smooth operation of machinery.  The critical success point will be your industry knowledge – sales and relationships are areas the business can train further on, as it relates to sales and selling.

 

Required skills and experiences:


    • Ability to communicate technically to customers and provide product application and service support

    • Ideally have experience in a similar technical environment

    • Utilising your current network to develop a  strong client portfolio

    • Development of new business with key distributors and also introduce new products and services to existing and new customers

    • Highly technical aptitude with heavy manufacturing machinery, construction and mining equipment.

    • Ability to travel during each month to meet sales call cycles

    • Ability to represent the company with new key customers and end users

    • Work towards deadlines and willingness to deliver on high commercial expectations

    • Understanding customers pain points and resolving issues

    • Using effective strategies to deliver value propositions

    • Demonstrated ability to meet sales revenue and work to exceeding sales targets
