The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Financial Accountant to join a leading media business based in the CBD on a fixed term contract. The role will provide essential support to every day finance operations and is an excellent opportunity to join an iconic international company where you can further develop your skills in an excellent cultural environment. This role would be ideal for someone looking for their first role from practice potentially on a working holiday visa.


The role will have responsibility across:
  • Month End processing
  • Daily bank Recs
  • BAS/PAYG preparation
  • Assist with intercompany receivables for timely collections
  • Assist in annual audit processing
  • Timely and accurate reporting

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated  individual with excellent financial, administrative and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for producing work to a high standard. You will have broad experience in accounting, possess a high level of integrity, be accountable, as well as having the ability to time manage and prioritise effectively. Experience in Excel and accounting software is essential.
