An International Water Technology company is looking for a candidate with a strong Chemical Engineering background to join their team in Singapore. To be responsible for the development and management of one of their major portfolio catering to the Industrial market segment. This position has a strong career progression towards being the successor of this portfolio.
 
Responsibilities of Sales Engineer -Chemicals  (Water/Wastewater)

• This incumbent will be responsible for Taiwan and Hong Kong.
• Must be able to handle the end to end sales process with clients from start to after sales service management.
• Be able to provide technical and commercial direction and support for proposals, price quotations and presentation of bids, proposals to Clients (Electroplating Industry players, Electrowinning, Galvanic Industry, Printed Circuit Board, etc)
• Pro-actively work on maintaining the sales objectives by supporting the target market's growth of sales and services.
• Tracks the status of projects, including the update of the Company’s sales database software preparing spreadsheets and reports that track monthly business activities, and project status.

 
Requirements of Sales Engineer -Chemicals  (Water/Wastewater)

• Must have minimally a Degree with a major in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferably an Advanced Degree in Electrochemistry. Someone with a Masters in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or a PhD is a huge bonus.
• Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin/Chinese in order to communicate well with the target clients.
• Proven successful Sales track record is a bonus 
• Be able to carry out relevant trade conferences, seminars, and training activities with clients and potential clients.
• Post-COVID travelling will be 30-50%
• Result-oriented and a team player
