Join a international insurer as a Regional Group Underwriter (Health Insurance). Reporting to the Regional Underwriting Manager, you will be involved with analyzing the assigned market and identifying the financial risks to develop sound underwriting and pricing strategies for group healthcare products. This role can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities 

• Evaluate, price and modify plan design for renewals and new business quotations in compliance with underwriting authorities.
• Evaluate renewals and work with relevant sales representatives, brokers and clients to implement required rating actions.
• Manage portfolio of accounts balancing profitability and persistency.
• Analyse results looking for trends and patterns that may need management currently and into the future. 
• Work with sales team to improve their knowledge of the technical aspects of the business. 

Requirements

• University graduate preferable.
• At least 2-3 years group underwriting experience, with experience in healthcare insurance desirable. 
• Ability to work independently to achieve ambitious new business targets.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Display business agility and good numerical skills.
