Up to $2500, Permanent Role with Variable Bonus
MNC Chemical Plant
West, Company Transport Provided at Designated Point
Normal Working Hours (Mon to Fri 8am to 5.15pm)

Responsibilities:

Starts up and shuts down chemical process equipment according to established practices and procedures
Make sure the process plant will smoothly start-up & shutdown
Monitor and feedback any abnormal function of plant utilities and machineries to supervisor
Monitoring & troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of the process plant
Performs equipment line-ups and operates reactors, compressors, pumps and turbines according to established practices
Performs gauging and transferring operations of raw materials, intermediate and finished products to reactors or mixing tanks
Perform chemical mixes appropriately
Works as a team member with maintenance to monitor and repair equipment to ensure reliability of the unit operation and safety of personnel involved
Perform QC, sampling for finished products, raw material receiving and WIP
Works as a member of the shift team to achieve measurable performance objectives by understanding and accepting roles and responsibilities within the shift team
Submit daily report / process records to supervisor and above
Others ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in chemical process / manufacturing environment
Understand chemical process / reactions / technology used in chemical
Fast learner interested in new technologies and willing to explore new things
Passion, teamwork, hands-on & able to take initiative
Leadership quality, independent, good communication skill
Proficiency in MS Office
