Apply: Corporate Counsel (Maritime & Transportation)

My client is a leading corporation within the Maritime & Transportation sector. They are presently looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their legal team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and support to the senior management, as well as the various business units.

In this role, you will be advising on various M&A transactions (Both domestic and international) as well as other general corporate commercial matters arising from the day-to-day business operations. You will be expected to work closely with various stakeholders within the business, which includes collaborating with other business functions such as IT, Finance, Human Resource, Procurement, governance, etc.

This is an excellent opportunity for Corporate Lawyers (ideally with some experience in the transportation and maritime sector) to join a renowned player in this market.

Requirements:
- 4-8 PQE, preferably with in-house experience
- Common Law Qualified, with a preference for Singapore Bar qualification
- Strong preference for candidates with Corporate/Transactional experience (M&A, Finance, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable with some degree of travelling (as and when required)
