Apply: Senior Investment Funds (Buy Side) Lawyer

The Role:

Our client is a Family Office with a large AUM, and patient capital in fund deployment and investment mandates globally for growth.

This is a senior legal role for the investment office and you will serve as a key point of contact for offshore mutual fund matters, Private equity, hedge fund as well as direct investments, co investments and alternative investments, risk management. 

Requirements:

• Degree in Law, Bar Admission with at least 10 PQE
• Asset management, financial industry experience (including Sovereign Wealth Funds) and or experience from top law firms in the funds space.
• Sound knowledge of the US, APAC, EMEA laws and regulations in the funds space. Comprehensive knowledge of APAC laws, in particular, Singapore and HK regulations
• Knowledge of US, Cayman, Luxembourg, regulations in the fund space a plus
• Experience in the review of buy-side drafting and negotiation of offering documents, term sheets, subscription agreements, LP agreements, distribution agreements, and side letters wrt offshore funds
• Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills
