We are currently looking for an immediate start for an experienced Payroll Officer to work closely with the finance/HR teams.

This opportunity will be approximately up to 3 months with a potential to become a permanent position.

About the role:

Oversees and manages the payroll process
End to end processing of fortnightly payroll
Preparation and timely delivery of pay slips
Ensures employee and compliance obligations are adhered to including taxation, superannuation, salary packaging and external agencies within deadlines
Maintains and updates payroll data and records
Calculates special payments, prepares and analyses reports and carries out audits as required
Assist with running all periodic payroll functions and generate required reports including month-end and year-end reconciliations
Preparation of all tax obligations, including PAYG tax, Superannuation and Guarantee contributions
Processing all salary deduction including salary sacrifice transfers
Ensuring compliance with relevant employees’ enterprise agreement, award and legislation

About you:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as payroll professional or in a Senior Payroll position
Understanding of Modern Awards (specifically Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010)

Essential Requirement:

NDIS Worker Clearance or willing to obtain one
