Our client is a leading international trading house seeking an ambitious trading analyst to join their expanding front office team here in Singapore. You will be assisting the front office trading teams and shipping teams with quality industry analysis with a particular focus on the energy space.  The incumbent should be well trained in collating data in the oil & gas industry and then be able to communicate this evidence by highlighting statistical patterns that you see with in the markets in order to foresee potential short- and long-term opportunities. The opening would be ideal for someone with a strong mathematical or statistical background and has experience working in a trading commodities environment.

Requirements:

• At least 4-5+ years of experience in areas of fundamental or technical research.
• Experience producing S&D analysis across crude oil, distillates, light ends, LNG, petrochemicals will be considered.
• Strong research background and ability to present data clearly and concisely.
• Ability to conduct S&D Analysis and maintain strong relationships in the oil & gas markets.
