The role
  • Possess a high understanding and exposure to Retail Banking, the relevant products and day to day operations.
  • Leading of end to end Audit process, including planning, fieldwork, risk and control testing and report writing.
  • Identify, test and review the effectiveness of existing controls.
  • Participate in independent reviews of control frameworks, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, frequently liaising with Projects, Data Analytics and Compliance SME'S.
  • Preparation of Audit reports to be presented to the Audit Committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Lead independent reviews of control frameworks, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Continual monitoring of emerging issues or potential risks to the business.
  • Coach and support peers/colleagues;
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in a Business related discipline/CA/CPA/CIA qualified.
  • 5+ years audit experience, preferably at the Manager/Senior level.
  • Exposure and knowledge of Financial markets and Retail Banking.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
  • Experience in Financial Services industry is a must.
  • High attention to detail and excellent written skills are essential.
  • Some analytical skills and data analysis experience is desirable.
