Candidate must have relevant experience in sustainability, energy efficiency and carbon accounting

Responsibilities would include:

Work closely with development and property management teams to carry out evaluation of environmental performance (energy, carbon, water and waste) of global asset portfolio
Develop strategy and targets to enhance building environmental performance for business units
Identify energy efficiency opportunities and solutions for operating assets and new developments
Establish low-carbon transition plan and decarbonization pathway for asset portfolio
Provide internal stakeholders with climate change and carbon advice, aligning to international best practice
Develop and monitor green building certification programme and renewable energy strategy
Perform gap analysis and advise business units on strategy and action plan to improve GRESB score
Support the preparation of annual Sustainability Report and GRESB benchmarking submission

Profile of ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in M&E Engineering, building services, environmental sustainability or relevant studies
Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in a real estate business setting with focus on sustainability, energy efficiency and carbon accounting
Strong knowledge in technical building environmental assessment and renewable energy implementation
Ability to carry out energy audit Level 1 and provide oversight on Level 2 energy audit
Certified Energy Manager, Green Mark Accredited Professionals or equivalent certifications would be favourable
Understand building life-cycle assessment, GHG protocol and carbon footprinting
Experience in sustainability assessments such as GRESB, CDP, GRESB and SBTi would be desirable
Track record in project management of sustainability-related initiatives
