Ignite is seeking a User Experience designer for their client for a full time 2 year fixed term contract.

The user Experience designer is accountable for:
  • Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes 
  • Driving discussions and providing advice around customer journey, functional/application designs
  • Ensuring technology and business solutions represent business requirements 
  • Facilitating the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for achieving business benefits.
  • Designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Developing high-level and/or detailed story boards to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.


Essential Criteria
  • Min 3 years of UX design experience. 
  • Experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, Just in Mind and the like is a must.
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work with clients 
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
