The Role: 

Location: Keswick SA
Duration: 12-month Traineeship

As a Client Payroll Coordinator Trainee, you will learn to provide timely and accurate processing of regular and ad hoc payments while maintaining and developing effective payroll relationships and long-term partnerships.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:

• Process salary packaging payments
• Timely and accurate payment of clients’ salary programs
• Format spreadsheets to be ready for system import
• Act as the primary point of contact for incoming client enquiries via phone and email
• Ensure account maintenance is maintained via regularly reviewing customer accounts
• Provide guidance and information to clients regarding the employer portal and reporting

About You:

To be successful in this traineeship, you’ll need:

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Effective time management and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with a variety of people
• Ability to multitask to meet deadlines

Eligibility Criteria:

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous customer service or administration experience (desirable)
