A large Federal Government Department is seeking three experienced and highly motivated individuals to engage in positions based in Canberra as a Solution Architect.

Primary Duties:
  • Solution Architecture and design of the new system
  • Guide project teams and technical specialists on suitable changes to the technical and business environment
  • Contribute to the integration of the new system with other systems
  • Assist and liaise on the technical aspects in delivering solutions
  • Ensure the required changes in infrastructure and software are met during the implementation process
  • Monitor and report on technical risks to the project
  • Perform project assurance to validate that solution architecture aligns with the enterprise architecture
  • Contributes to ICT policies, standards and guidelines
 
Skills and Experience required
Mandatory
  • At least 5 years’ direct experience as a Solutions Architect with demonstrated experience designing and developing enterprise wide access management solutions in a multi-agency environment
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships
 
Highly Desirable
  • Experience in the evaluation and selection of a suitable solution that can satisfy current and future enterprise needs;
  • TOGAF certification (The Open Group);
  • Archimate experience;

Security Requirements - Applicants must be Australian Citizens. NV1 security clearance is required for this role.
