We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Educational Support Worker to assist adult learners with disabilities in a dynamic educational environment.

Position Summary:
This role involves working closely with adult learners to provide the support they need to thrive in their studies.
The ideal candidate will help facilitate accessibility and engagement, ensuring that each learner has the opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide personalised support to adult learners with disabilities, understanding their unique needs.
-Assist with academic tasks such as note-taking, assignment preparation, and study techniques.
-Support learners during both in-person and online educational activities.
-Monitor and report on learners’ progress and any challenges they face.
-Provide support and foster confidence and independence.
-Adaptable to be in multiple courses, including trades.

Qualifications:
-Experience in a similar role or in supporting individuals with disabilities, especially in adult education.
-Familiarity with disability support services and educational practices for adult learners.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach.
-Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
-Relevant qualifications or certifications in education, social work, or disability support (preferred).
-Must have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Employment Check
