The business plays a pivotal role between the Consumer of Healthcare services and the Healthcare system at both a state and federal level. Description

In this newly created role, you will be fully responsible for ensuring the accountability and financial sustainability of the organisation in order to optimise delivery of services on behalf of shareholders and other key customers. With a focus on operational excellence the CFO leads the Finance, Risk and internal Business Services functions to ensure operational alignment and delivery against the strategic priorities. Key aspects of the role include – Strategic Finance Leadership, Finance Operations, Business Support Services, Risk and Governance and People Leadership.

Profile

As an established senior Finance Executive you will have developed a track record that demonstrates highly developed technical capability across all as aspects of finance, risk and compliance. Furthermore, you will have developed strong commercial capability and be able to play a lead role in strategic initiatives that build new commercial opportunities for the organisation. Knowledge of the financial and budgeting framework at both a Commonwealth and State Government level would be viewed favourably. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be highly developed and allow you to be an inspirational member of the senior executive team whilst also capable of engaging externally with key shareholders, the Board and customers.
