Responsibilities:

Gather and interpret information covering a wide span of scientific, technical, environmental and regulatory factors.
Communicate technical and regulatory requirements with R&D, site technical contacts, site SHE contacts, sales managers and VPs both verbally and in writing.
Provide training internally on the impact of new regulations
Assess the impact of regulatory and scientific ( toxicological / environmental ) developments affect company's products and develop new processes to ensure on-going compliance.
Expected to strive for continuous improvement in ways of working to improve efficiency
Support new product development by assessing product safety data and regulatory compliance and contributing to technology design and selection in relation to external factors.
Provide guidance on any necessary actions required ahead of commercialisation and ensures supporting product regulatory documentation is developed.

Requirements:

Expert knowledge of chemical and application related legislation
Keep abreast of new legislation and assess the impact on company products and manufacturing.
Expertise in toxicology and ecotoxicology inorder to be able to correctly interpretate toxicological and environmental test reports
Attention to detail is very important.
