Global insurance and reinsurance firm is seeking a highly motivated 5-8 year defendant insurance Senior Associate with liability & professional indemnity experience to join a developing and growing Insurance practice of a global firm, working with a specialist in the industry.
 
Acting for a mix of domestic and London based insurers, you will have the opportunity to become involved in:
  • Defending a mix of high-value catastrophic liability and injury claims whilst
  • Supervising juniors on smaller personal injury and public liability claims
  • Drafting coverage advice & advising on risk – some of which will be multi-jurisdictional.
  • Running some professional indemnity matters on behalf of a number of professionals including accountants, financial advisors, construction & design professionals and brokers;
The candidate will possess the following skills:
  • A minimum of 5-8 years PAE gained within a top-tier, national or well-regarded defendant insurance practice;
  • Expertise in liability/casualty claims with some exposure to indemnity work.
  • Solid academic record with a commercial approach.
  • Keen interest in business development, marketing & client events.
  • Excellent interpersonal, drafting and technical skills;
