The decision to change roles is a big one….imagine if you could find a place that feels just like home but offers you brand new adventures in your veterinarian career? PETstock Vet Craigieburn are looking for a full-time veterinarian to join the team.  
 
The position 
We are looking for a fabulous vet to join our fun, happy and close knit team. A vet with a passion for practicing high quality medicine would be welcome, as our clients are very motivated to pursue work up and diagnostics. We also have a visiting specialist surgeon for more intricate and complicated surgery. We encourage vets with an area of interest to apply, as we will look to accommodate this.  
 
The team currently have 2 experienced full time vets, supported by a 5 nurse team. Hours are negotiable, but will typically be 9am-6pm with 1 in 2-3 Saturdays. While we are looking for a vet with some clinical experience, new graduates are welcome to apply and would be well supported with our team. New graduate veterinarians will also be included in the PETstock Vet New Graduate Program. 
 
The clinic is purpose built, with a great range of facilities and equipment. Our nurses are very competent and use their skills to enhance the workflow in the clinic. The vet and nurse team work cohesively to ensure they have a great ability to work together, both when the clinic is busy or quiet.

Mandated Vaccination Directive - Victoria
As you are aware, we are currently under directive by the Acting Chief Health Officer – all Authorised Workers, are required to be vaccinated in line with the mandated dates - 1st dose by Fri 15 Oct (appointment booked to obtain by 22 Oct)/Fully vaccinated by Fri 26 Nov.  We as a business fall into this category of Authorised Workers. 

Please Note:  We appreciate an individual’s choice on whether to become vaccinated, however in line with the directive from the  Acting Chief Officer, we will be unable to proceed with any applicants who choose at this time to not be vaccinated.  If you do become vaccinated, by the above dates & you are successful in gaining a role with PETstock, we’re required to collect, record & hold copies of the vaccination info or if you have an exemption, written evidence from a medical practitioner – your records will be housed in a secured database where only limited team will have access to, in order to show compliance.
