Apply: Senior Systems Engineer - Office 365 Exchange Online

Senior Systems Engineer for Office 365 project. Responsible for assisting the team in the migration from Exchange 2013 to Exchange Online. In collaboration with the team, you will work to prepare the environment, plan and conduct the migration in addition to the identification and troubleshooting and testing of issues. The role will require ability to provide technical input to support the project manager into developing communications and support materials.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Provide specialised technical expertise, guidance and recommendations to all constituent projects and work under the programme to contribute towards the planning and running of the programme.
2. Assess all technical and design considerations under the programme and escalate and engage solution designers and technology owners from internal technical domains, vendors, and partners.
3. Monitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for assigned projects.
4. Assimilate inputs from plans, business and non-functional requirements from business, information management, regulation, policy, technical, operations and other stakeholders to develop ‘fit-for-purpose’ enterprise solution architectures and strategies.
5. Identify risks and issues associated with technology deliverables and provide technical assurance, options and recommendations to facilitate remediation and mitigation strategies.
6. Align technology to business processes and organisational changes, ensuring that the technology supports these critical activities.

Essential Requirements:
Significant expertise and experience equivalent to an Office Business Apps & Services (Office 365) MVP (Most Valuable Professional) with a passion for Cloud Services and Innovation with a focus on modern workplace collaboration and messaging.

Selection Criteria:

1. Extensive experience and a record of achievement in ICT infrastructure projects in a large and complex ICT environment. This includes expert knowledge and demonstrated experience in inter-organisational technical migrations including Active Directory and Exchange.
2. Proven knowledge and experience in Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online Hybrid. Proven experience managing the migration of mailboxes from Exchange On-Premises to Exchange Online Hybrid in an enterprise environment
3. Highly developed analytical and documentation skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, develop Support Knowledge Base Articles, Quick Reference Guides and end-user communication collateral.
