About the Role:
 
  • Global pharmaceutical company
  • Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne
  • Start ASAP
  • Contract 12 months role with a potential to extend
  • Monday to Friday with standard working hours

About your duties -
 
  • Management of samples
  • Receiving clinical and non-clinical samples
  • Ensuring samples are receipted checked and input into systems
  • Cataloguing minus 80 freezers
  • Cataloguing in online inventory systems
  • Conducting inventory checks
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that incoming deliveries of materials into the facility are properly labelled and registered in the systems.
  • Take responsibility for picking and returning samples for testing 
     
Must have:
  • 2-3 yrs of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with LIMS, Microsoft office
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasker
  • Appreciation of data integrity requirements and lab management systems
  • Strong digital skills – able to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent organisational, communication, problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual
