Contract Administration & Procurement Officer (Short-Term)
Location: Werribee
Rate: $52 per hour + super
Contract: Until 17 August 2026 (with potential for extension)

A local council is seeking an experienced procurement professional to provide specialist contract administration support across a busy portfolio of regulatory and project-based work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and manage supplier requests, claims and compliance-related correspondence
  • Review documentation against compliance requirements and escalate where required
  • Support contract variations, amendments and reporting
  • Act as a key point of contact for supplier enquiries on active programs
  • Maintain registers for claims, variations and compliance activities
  • Provide support across procurement projects, documentation and compliance processes
About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract administration or coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience reviewing contracts, claims or high-volume documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
  • Local or state government experience is desirable
