  • Experiences in Sales Planning, worked closely with sales and marketing to create the right demand forecast.
Responsibilities:

  • Based in Regional Office managing flow of materials within the market organisations (Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia) ensuring optimisation of inventory and service levels at all locations.
  • Prepare, present and lead the monthly Sales and Operation meetings with Marketing business partners (Product Managers) and Local logistics teams
  • Prepare and possibly contribute to the Markets monthly S&OP meetings
  • Master data creation and maintenance of the planning tool (APO/JDA) and other system related master data (SAP)
  • Plan, forecast & release of purchasing orders to ensure targeted product availability and optimum inventory levels with pro-active management of system/planning alerts
  • Demand planning and purchasing of Company products from all international source and suppliers
  • Manage inventory shortages ensuring that appropriate action is taken to resolve them with minimum cost & minimal impact to customers including airfreight spent per BU
  • Minimise obsolescence through tight purchasing controls and communication across the business. Primary driver of marketing efforts to reduce obsolescence (pre-warning, sell-offs, SKU rationalisation)
  • On-time / accurate execution of new product launches
  • Contribute pro-actively to the achievement of KPIs including product availability, days of stock, forecast quality and obsolescence
  • Support definition and execution of continuous improvement projects
  • Leverage SAP functionality, Company global processes and best practice benchmarks to enhance supply chain processes
Requirements:

  • Masters degree or Bachelors in supply chain related field
  • Minimum 5 years experiences in Demand/Supply Planning within an MNC with a direct sales business model
  • Familiar with S&OP process
  • Proficient user of SAP R3 – DRP, Inventory Modules & Data Management
  • Proficient in MS Excel (Pivotable & Vlookup) with experience in building advanced reports
  • APICS Certifications is a plus
  • LEAN Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
  • Experiences using SAP APO/JDA - forecasting & purchasing modules is a plus
  • Experiences using SAP BI reporting tools is a plus
