Head of Compliance – Wealth and Fiduciary Firm

The Role:
My Client is a global Wealth and Fiduciary Firm, and we are looking for a Head of Compliance to lead the function in Singapore. You will be overseeing the Compliance function in the region and reporting directly up to the CEO and regional leaders.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Compliance policies at a group level
Subject matter expert in any Regulatory and AML related matters
Liaise with the MAS on any Regulatory related matters
Review and maintain any AML and Compliance Risk
Mitigate any gaps within the business and to ensure the business is in line with Compliance and Risk guidelines
Spearhead annual risk and compliance assessments and reporting to the board of directors
Responsible for the onboarding and KYC of any new clients.
Create a robust Risk and Compliance culture in the business

Requirements:

A bachelors degree in a reputable university
10 years of experience in a Compliance role – ideally from a MAS licensed firm
Ideally in a Wealth or Trust firm
Leadership experience
Ability to build a strong Risk culture within the organization.
