Based in our Ballarat Support Office, you will:
  • Be responsible for structuring and managing user acceptance testing, to validate that systems meet the needs of the users
  • Liaise with relevant departments to discuss and gather appropriate business requirements for new or updated system changes or enhancements
  • Document requirements and liaise with developer or relevant 3rd party as necessary to ensure they are aware of what is needed
  • Answer and investigate any questions, clarifications, or further requirements during development phase, making sure they are incorporated appropriately
  • Testing and delivery of final change or enhancement
  • Ongoing support of internal systems and applications.
To be successful in this role:
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Business or Information Technology (or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic 4GL or an understand OO programming methods
  • Ability to investigate and self-teach.
  • Experience with Pronto-Xi ERP or similar.
  • Understanding of test management tools such as MS Planner or something similar.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in application support.
  • Experience with systems and application testing and documentation.
  • Basic query skills with MS SQL.
  • Advanced analytic skills and ability to translate data to business contexts.
  • Ability to continually improve on the systems processes and identify areas for change.
  • Strong retail understanding would be highly regarded.
