We’re working for a genuine market leader who’s on the hunt for an accomplished Back-End Developer to join their team on a large-scale and groundbreaking retail transformation project. This is genuinely a unique and exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic digital team.
 
Your remit will span across all technical activities related to delivering back-end solutions covering the full SDLC…working with the latest and greatest technologies
 
The ideal candidate will be someone who picks things up quickly, adapting and understanding new technologies on the go. You will support the continuous evolution of the digital platform architecture, in line with modern technology patterns. You must be able to communicate effectively with a range of different stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
 
 
So what will you be doing day to day?
  • Support the Lead developer and solution team to ensure that all ideas can be easily understood by product owners and development teams
  • Provide guidance to product owners throughout the delivery process
  • Work towards the goal of continuous delivery and contribute to the evolution of the automated pipeline
  • Ensure that the architecture of the digital platform is followed correctly
 
What you’ll bring:
  • Ideally 2 years’ experience with .NET and .NET Core (we are using .Net Core 5)
  • Extensive experience in developing API’s
  • Knowledge of Redis, Entity Framework and Azure Storage Services
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and concepts
  • Experience with Azure Application Insights or other similar analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of React-storybook will be highly advantageous
