As a result of continuing growth, we are now looking for an experienced recruitment expert to join our team to help identify and attract great talent into our businesses. The role will be based at our amazing offices in central London.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition the successful candidate will be responsible for:  
 
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide first-class recruiting support and advice on hiring strategies.
•Proactively building a strong talent pool of great talent – initially focusing on our greatest needs/ difficult to recruit areas.
•Operating as an expert in industry best practices, monitoring new trends and opportunities to consistently raise the standards across Ascential.
• Ensuring that the quality of our recruiting process is enhanced and maintained by facilitating skills training for managers
• Communicating effectively and partnering with HR and Training teams, ensuring that our combined objectives are achieved
• Work to develop our employer brand through advertising and promoting our businesses
• Agency relationship development
• Analysis of applicant flows & ROI
• Provision of Management Information
• Coaching and advising line manager

The Successful Candidate will be a charismatic, self starter who is likely to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in recruitment and selection
  • Understanding of traditional and innovative recruiting methods, selection assessment tools, and hiring/on-boarding procedures
  • Experience with employer branding and using social media to attract talent
