Apply: Process Design Manager (Water/Wastewater)

An International Water Technology company is looking for an experienced engineer from the water or wastewater treatment industry who is skilled in process design to understand and provide competitive end-to-end process design proposals for its clients.

An experienced process design engineer who will be able to provide the necessary technical and process support to interdisciplinary project engineering teams during execution phase of related projects.

This position is to be based in Singapore, for candidates already based in Singapore.

Responsibilities of Process Design Manager (Water/Wastewater)

• Must be able to handle and prepare tender or proposal submittals and ensure their timely submission.
• Work closely with Sales team to be able to provide technical direction covering end-to-end process design and proposal services.
• Possesses strong knowledge of water and wastewater products and systems
• Assist procurement team with 3rd party vendors recommendation, selection and/or justification as required.
• Adept in being client facing in order to communicate during client meetings and site meetings on matters relating to the project process and design phases.
• Results oriented and pro-actively manage project processes critical for the proposal delivery workflow – i.e. PFD/P&ID, GA drawings, Hydraulic Profile, Treatment Plant Mass Balance, and Vendor Specification.
• Holds strong understanding of chemical treatment processes, hydraulics, mechanical pumping and mixing applications.

Requirements of Process Design Manager (Water/Wastewater)

• Holds a relevant University degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, etc)
• Proven successful Process Design and proposal track record within the Municipal/Industrial water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations are a bonus
• Someone who holds proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and other engineering tools.
