Our client a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Program co-ordinator for a large complex program of work  to join them on a contract up to 30th June with high potential for extension.
Construction industry program experience preferred but not essential. Experience dealing with Communications/Change Management/Ministerial requests highly desired.
 
This role is responsible for following tasks:
  • Internal and external regular reporting for entire Stimulus and Economic Recovery programs
  • Internal and external reporting for all Property and Finance requests i.e. Ministerial requests, liaison with Communications team on Communications requests
  • Internal and external reporting for entire BAU programs
  • Ad-hoc data and reporting requests for all stakeholders i.e. Treasury, INSW
  • Working with multiple work stream leads and project managers to collate data, project status, risks, budget updates, unit updates, safety issues, quality issues. 
  • communications to clients and stakeholders
  • Briefing Notes and approval type requests/documentation
  • Program documentation Risks and Contentious Issues.
  • Provide regular reporting updates to the Program Manager.
  • Understand and monitor Project performance to report on project delivery against time, budget and Quality standards.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to identify operational and performance issues and be better placed to recommend solutions to management.
  • Identify, respond and rectify reasons for non-compliance of contractors so as to rectify these issues.
  • Investigate, analyse and report on Program delivery and audit data.
  • Implement anRisk Management plan.
  • Ensure that communication is pro-active and solution oriented and thus facilitates the success of the program
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, Briefing Notes, budgets and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.
