All our hospitals are located within PETstock stores. This means you see your patients more than just once a year for a quick vaccination, as they stop for a chat or a pat whenever they come into the store. Our amazing staff discounts mean that staff pets usually have all the latest treats and toys. Our hospitals are purpose built and fitted with brand new equipment. We also have a veterinary support team at head office, who are all vets and nurses themselves. All PETstock veterinarians have the clinical freedom to determine best practice medicine for their patients.

The Position – our ideal candidate
We are looking to expand our growing team and we are looking for a Part Time veterinarian who wants to work with a team that love their jobs and have a passion for delivering world class patient care. Our ideal candidate is fun, organised, communicates well with the team and loves to build relationships with the clients. You will need relevant veterinary qualifications, however we are looking for veterinarians with all levels of experience.

Mandated Vaccination Directive - Victoria
As you are aware, we are currently under directive by the Acting Chief Health Officer – all Authorised Workers, are required to be vaccinated in line with the mandated dates - 1st dose by Fri 15 Oct (appointment booked to obtain by 22 Oct)/Fully vaccinated by Fri 26 Nov.  We as a business fall into this category of Authorised Workers.

Please Note:  We appreciate an individual’s choice on whether to become vaccinated, however in line with the directive from the  Acting Chief Officer, we will be unable to proceed with any applicants who choose at this time to not be vaccinated.  If you do become vaccinated, by the above dates & you are successful in gaining a role with PETstock, we’re required to collect, record & hold copies of the vaccination info or if you have an exemption, written evidence from a medical practitioner – your records will be housed in a secured database where only limited team will have access to, in order to show compliance.
