About the Opportunity
Minderoo is seeking an experienced and values-led Executive Director, Operations to join its Executive Leadership Team and lead the critical enabling functions that make its impact sustainable and effective. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a senior leadership role central to delivering Minderoo's 2030 ambitions.

Leading the Operations strategy, the Executive Director, Operations oversees finance, investments, legal, risk and compliance, people, facilities and technology, embedding strong governance and financial control to support sustainable impact. The role also guides investment oversight and endowment management, including through membership of the Investment Committee and Strategic Impact Fund Investment Committee.

Beyond financial and governance stewardship, this position sponsors major technology, AI and transformation initiatives, and leads a high-performing team of approximately 50 people with 7 direct reports, modelling Minderoo's values of safety, integrity and impact. The Executive Director, Operations also represents Operations with the Board, Audit and Risk Committee, regulators and key stakeholders.
 
About You
The successful candidate will bring executive-level experience leading complex enabling functions in a fast-paced environment combined with strong financial and commercial acumen and relevant qualifications. Experience modernising systems and processes, including the rapid adoption of new technology, will also be highly valued.
 
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder skills are essential, including experience engaging Boards and senior executives, alongside sound judgement, resilience and the ability to balance long-term impact with hands-on delivery. Above all, this is a role for someone with genuine alignment with Minderoo's mission and values.
