Technology Lawyer (8+ PQE)

My client is a leading technology services provider (publicly listed) looking to hire their first legal counsel here in Asia (based in Singapore).

Reporting to their General Counsel based in their Global HQ, you will be required to oversee all the legal affairs in their APAC offices (Mainly Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul & Japan).

With their versatile and complex database software technology, their software has been widely utilized across varied industries including, but not limited to, Financial Services Sectors, Manufacturing, Aviation, Automobile, Pharmaceutical, etc.

The ideal candidate should be a seasoned technology lawyer with at least 8+ PQE gained from both private practice (international law firm experience preferred) as well as inhouse with leading technology MNCs. You should be familiar with all types of software licensing agreements, with a deep understanding of the technical solutions that need to be licensed. Mandarin proficiency would be preferred because of their growing presence in Hong Kong & Mainland China and the need to negotiate in business mandarin.

As their first hire in Asia, this is an exciting opportunity for Senior Technology Lawyer who is keen to eventually build up a team in APAC.
