About the role
We’re looking for a Technical Application Manager to lead the performance, support, and ongoing development of a Patient Management System (PMS). You’ll manage the full system lifecycle—including upgrades, integrations, user support, and compliance—ensuring the platform meets clinical, administrative, and business needs. This role bridges IT and healthcare teams, driving improvements and ensuring interoperability with other digital systems.

What's Required
  • Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise healthcare application management, ideally within patient management or EMR platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and interface engines.
  • Hands-on experience in managing complex systems across cloud/on-prem hybrid environments.
  • Proven track record in system architecture, incident management, vendor oversight, and release management.
  • Familiarity with security protocols, identity access management, and Australian data privacy and cybersecurity standards.
  • Ability to balance technical rigour with clinical and business usability.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
