Data Analyst - EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)
Government sector - based in Parramatta
FULL TIME - 9 Month Contract position 

 

 

Client Description:

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable government department currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst.
 

 
Key Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders and the data migration team on activities including:

  • Managing, identifying and correcting data quality issues
  • Responding to data related information requests
  • Providing or arranging for data extracts
  • Perform data mapping and reconciliation
  • Involvement in Data Migration processes including but not limited to cleansing, extraction, transformation and reconciliation
  • Execution of activities to migrate data
  • Construct or support construction of data
  • Take ownership of all tasks assigned to you and take accountability to deliver to the project timelines
  • Support other project team members
  • Provide timely status reporting as required
 

Personal and Interpersonal Skills

  • Proven ability to deliver high quality results and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with and support the business especially in root cause analysis of errors and data reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to take ownership of assigned tasks and be able to escalate to manager when required
  • Must be a good team player
 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an SAP Data Analyst role
  • Strong experience in SAP EAM. Experience in Finance and Purchasing highly desirable
  • Proven experience with data extract, transform and load activities on at least 3 projects
  • Detailed experience across data source to target mapping, data profiling, data cleansing and an understanding of data modelling layers
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and negotiation in particular with data owners and data developers as well as business users of data
  • S4 HANA project experience with Data Services / LSMW is highly desirable
  • Ability to navigate issues and work with business users to rectify include Training
  • Strong Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders in order to map the transformation of data onto SAP S4 Hana.
