Our client, a Leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Senior Information Analyst to join their team in the Health Space in St Leonards.

The initial contract will be until the end of June 2021 with potential for an extension past this point.

Day to Day Duties
  • Identify and analyse trends and undertake analysis to support the development, implementation and monitoring of Quality Use of Medicines and regulatory strategies and policies.
  • Manage data requests and provide advice on data management, data quality issues and data interpretation in relation to data collections in the Chief Pharmacist Unit and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Unit
  • Develop, review and update documentation in relation to these data collections.
  • Prepare high quality, accurate and timely written advice including reports, briefs, policy, guidelines or discussion papers to inform
  • Take action or respond to requests or promote new policy ideas and strategies
  • Manage content on the relevant pages of the Government Department for the Chief Pharmacist Unit.

In order for you to be eligible for this role you will have
  • Need to have worked in the health sector, and understand issues in quality and safety in healthcareE
  • Be able to interpret data on pharmaceuticals and manage information/content about pharmaceuticals.
  • The focus of the role is data management, data analysis and information management. The person must be able to manage a large data set and do basic data analysis with SAS or SPSS.
