Apply: Clinical Project Director

I am currently looking for Clinical Project Directors to be based out of Malaysia to work on regional projects across therapeutic areas.

In a time when a number of large CROs are not doing as well these guys are swooping in and winning a lot of business. They are Asia focused, work with a lot of smaller organizations (who tend to do more of the exciting work) and quite simply have too much work to handle right now so they need senior people to come in and lead projects across the region.


The Clinical Project Directors will:

• Review financial reports monthly for assigned projects, analyze data to identify trends and investigate reasons for any discrepancies, and report any issues as needed.
• Ensure that project managers have a clear understanding of their financial obligations and follow the proper protocol for escalating issues.
• Monitor project realization, identify areas for improvement and implement strategies as needed, and promptly report any major concerns to management.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Development (BD) team to prepare and evaluate proposals and pricing for assigned projects.
• Oversee the progress and career growth of direct reports, including setting objectives, providing guidance and training, reviewing compensation, and developing career plans.

The Clinical Project Directors will be/have:

• Tertiary qualifications in a related science or health care discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience and expertise in clinical trials research, including Phase I-IV studies.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior project management position in clinical project management.
• Line management experience in project management or/or clinical operations is desirable
