Apply: Associate Director , Actuarial Analytics (Reinsurance)

Join an international professional services consulting firm and their Actuarial , Data and Analytics division. In this role, you will be focusing on assisting your clients to understand their exposure towards risk and determine the optimal reinsurance arrangements to meet their risk, return and capital requirements.  We are looking for a solutions-oriented actuary with reinsurance actuarial pricing experience to be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform experience and exposure rating, and stochastic modelling (DFA) analysis using risk and economic capital modelling tool.
• Undertake industry research, and advice clients and colleagues to establish client project objectives, outcomes.
• Assist clients and colleagues with reinsurance strategy, reinsurance pricing, capital allocation and decision making.
• Present and assist to conduct training sessions, ensuring the effective and efficient communication of concepts, to both colleagues and clients.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and conduct peer review projects.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Actuarial Studies, or in related fields, and working towards an associate/fellowship qualification with a recognized Actuarial institute
• Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in (re)insurance actuarial pricing techniques such as experience and exposure rating
• An understanding of the various reinsurance structures to manage risk and implementation of them within the modelling framework
• Demonstrate ability to use complex computer programs to understand, manipulate and interpret data large client data sets
