One of the major Retail Banks in Singapore is looking for a SVP to cover Business Finance for the Retail Banking segment across all products from loans, mortgage, cards, etc.

You will be a key Finance Business Partner with retail banking business and work with business to drive the profitability of the segment. You will ensure accuracy & timeliness of financial numbers and KPIs and provide MI to enable key decisions to be made by the business. As part of your role, you will also provide market insights on competitor analysis as well as develop models that will be useful for the business to study profitability etc. You will be partner closely with the Group Head of Business Banking on Financial related matters.

The ideal candidate would be a Retail Banking Finance specialist with at least 10-12 years of relevant knowledge in Finance, Management Reporting, FP&A, etc. You should have good knowledge in MIS budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. In terms of soft skills, you should be able to translate these financial numbers to results for management decision-making. Hence, a mix of technical Finance background and strong communication skills would be essential.
