Our client is a leading ASX listed financial services group and employer of choice with an outstanding culture within the finance function and offering excellent work life balance and flexibility (including hybrid working model - 2 days office/3 days home).

They have an excellent newly created opportunity for a senior financial analyst or a finance business partner with exposure to data analytics and BI to join their technology and transformation finance team. 

Reporting to the Manager, Finance Business Partnering the role will include:

  • Provide quality, relevant and insightful analysis on the Expense and FTE financial performance 
  • Provide management reporting, forecasting and budgeting services
  • Provide executive reporting and data/financial modelling
  • Deliver standardised reporting, integrated solutions and performance management insights
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of business drivers and trends that supports management reporting
  • Collaborate with relevant team members and leverage data resources to address the defined requirements
  • Undertaking reviews of Project financials and contract renewals
  • Lead process improvement projects within the function and support wider F&A projects

Required skills and experience:

  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with minimum of 3 years PQE in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering role within a financial services organisation
  • Strong analytical capability with background in business analysis, management reporting and / or decision support
  • Experience in analysis, executive reporting and an interest in data/financial modelling
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
  • Proven track record in managing relationships effectively
  • Understanding of financial and business systems (e.g. TM1, Oracle / PeopleSoft, Cognos)
