Our client is a major player in the Grocery space with a strong commitment to winning for both the consumer and the supplier. They are currently inviting a head of Merchandise for their GM / Health and beauty portfolio the opportunity to join them in a highly desirable role that will see you able to challenge the status quo and be a disruptor in this space leading the way for your peers and potentially the industry. 

Description

  • With a transformation approach to the category’s you will lead and develop.
  • Lead the charge with price, promotion, range and brands
  • Explore and implement new ways of partnering and working with suppliers
  • Lead a high performing team of approx. 20
  • Drive innovation and differentiation to deliver on shopper needs
  • Create and lead with strong Supplier partnerships
 
Profile
  • You will have had an extensive career in either a buying or Head of category role within the grocery channel
  • You have exceptional negotiating skills that build mutual partnerships
  • Have an obsession like focus on cultivating shopper and category insights
  • Can provide measurable actions around team empowerment and growth
  • Display excellent commercial understanding and acumen
  • Are resilient and inspirational not afraid to challenge for the greater good 

Job Offer
