Global brand is seeking a highly motivated 3-6 year medical negligence, professional indemnity or general insurance Associate or Senior Associate with expertise in construction indemnity to join a growing Insurance practice of a global firm, working across specialists in the industry.
 
Acting for a mix of domestic & local insurers, public bodies & general insurers, you will have the opportunity to become involved in a broad mix of medical malpractice, professional indemnity & general insurance including:
 
  • Complex medical negligence work from start to finish.
  • Advisory work – including coverage advice.
  • The defence of complex & high-value claims involving instructing experts and external Counsel.
  • Arbitration, settlement conferences & mediations.
The candidate will possess the following skills:
  • A minimum of 3-6 years PAE gained within a top-tier, mid-tier or specialist insurance law firm;
  • Strong academics.
  • Commercial approach with a keen interest in marketing, business development & client events.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage and run a busy caseload of complex/high-value files;
  • Ability to manage and supervise juniors within the team.
