About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced inventory specialist to lead & support the growth & efficiency of our replenishment team.
Based in our South Melbourne Support Office & reporting to the Forecasting and Replenishment Manager, the Replenishment Planning Team Leader will lead the inventory flow for all retail sites across Australia & New Zealand. This role will also lead & mentor a team of Replenishment Coordinators to maximise supply efficiencies & a best in class inventory management service.  
Key responsibilities for the role will include –

• Deliver optimum inventory throughout our store network
• Develop strong working relationships with our Merchandise Planning & Buying team, to together ensure the success of the replenishment and scheduling functions
• Assist in implementing and managing the forecasting and replenishment system within the business
• Forward forecast inventory requirements at a DC, store and supplier level
• Work with the DC operations team to plan inventory, scheduling and staffing future requirements
• Consistently monitor and analyse inventory levels, implementing solutions to improve stock flow
• Leverages replenishment capabilities to ensure optimal freight and packing utilization and savings occurs
• Lead, mentor & develop two Replenishment Coordinators
• Create and manage the forecast collaboration process with internal and external stakeholders
• Be the key escalation point for inventory and replenishment issues across our store and supplier network
• Manage reporting and analysis requirements on a weekly and adhoc basis

To be successful in this role you must have:
This role requires someone with previous replenishment, planning and stakeholder management experience who is willing to think outside of the box and use their initiative to make their mark on this exciting role.

• 3+ years experience within a Retail, Wholesale or FMCG inventory/replenishment planning role
• Previous experience in leading a small team would be highly desirable
• Proven success in leading process improvements & efficiencies
• Energetic, enthusiastic and a driven leadership approach
• You will be a hands-on team player who is able to hit the ground running and demonstrate a well-rounded skill set.
• Highly analytical mindset and strong reporting skills
• Ability to successfully manage multiple internal and external relationships
• Ability to influence others to ensure financial performance and inventory optimisation
• Strong communication, planning & organisational skills
• Adaptability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment
• A passion for their team and customers

• Ability to be flexible to meet changing work priorities
