Apply: Digital Communications Project Officer

Key role for a Digital Communications Officer with a large government organisation. This position involves migrating content from multiple legacy content management systems to their enterprise CMS, Adobe Enterprise Management. The position also provides project management and support, problem solving, content management, compliance and reporting for the department’s digital products including websites and Intranet to meet the needs of customers business and accessibility/legal requirements.

Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience leading content migration projects in an agile framework.
• Experience with content migration process to migrate a vast amount of content from legacy CMS to new enterprise CMS.
• Demonstrated understanding and developing information architectures (IA) and site structures to support the migration
• Experience developing and delivering intranet content that meets best practice plain English, accessibility, editorial and brand standards.
• Ability to support training content authors on the content management system
• Manage and lead the user acceptance testing of migrated content across website and intranets
• Demonstrated understanding of best practice for digital content, particularly with reference to plain English and accessibility (WCAG2.1).
• Experience in writing and editing for the web, with attention to detail, within a large and complex organisations, and in particular working on websites and intranets.
• Previous experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Squiz Matrix or SharePoint content management systems
