This position is imbedded in Line 1 Technology Risk, where you will be responsible for embedding robust risk frameworks and supporting group Technology operations. Part of a wider team consisting of commercial & vendor management, demand management and decommissioning. A key contributor in ensuring the Technology Risk function is effectively modernized, streamlined and managed correctly to meet current standards and the everchanging Technology landscape.

The role:
  • Provide Line 1 risk support, assurance and guidance to teams across Group Technology.
  • A key contributor and leader in delivering and executing the Group Technology Risk strategy.
  • Responsible for creating active technology risk and control frameworks.
  • A risk SME, providing a consulting lense and educating the business on Technology Risk Frameworks.
  • Pro-actively manage risk and educate on emerging trends.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in 1st or 2nd Line Technology Risk.
  • Preferably experienced in Financial Services industry, with exposure to financial services products.
  • Exposure to 1st Line Risk reporting is advantageous.
  • Well rehearsed in Technology controls assurance, governance, risk and compliance.
  • Knowledge of COBIT/ITIL frameworks are essential with exposure to NIST being advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong relationship building capabilities are a must.
  • Adaptability and resilience are essential.
