Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior developer and Technology Leader that will be able to help us maintain our current systems while leading the charge to a micro services architecture. This individual will need to contribute code and help to plan and set the direction for the team. Responsibility will include our current client facing REST API – Single page app as well as people, project and process management.
Will be responsible for leading team using agile methodologies and reporting on progress of team to senior management.
We also deal in large amounts of data (10MM – 100MM+ records) so if you are looking to up your big data game then this is the place for you.

Key Accountabilities

Gather Requirements and scope projects
· Manage team of developers
· Maintain and speed up current Monolith Application
· Mentor Junior Developers
· Help design and create new services

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
· PHP 5.6
· Javascript (ES6) / HTML / CSS / LESS
· MYSQL 5.6/5.7
· Laravel 4.2 & 5.4
· Linux CLI
· Beanstalkd or similar queue/messaging technology
· Minimum of 5+ years of programming experience
· Team lead/Team management experience
