Chandler Macleod is seeking a Project Officer to join our clients Return to Work and Compensation team to support and influence the health and wellbeing of employees. This is a full time temporary role based in Melbourne CBD with 3 days in office and 2 days from home. 

The key duties of this role will include but not be limited to: 

  • Provide support to team members managing complex workers' compensation claims.
  • Assist in delivering safe workplaces in collaboration with managers.
  • Process human resources tasks such as certificates of capacity, current weekly earnings, and pre-injury average weekly earnings.
  • Ensure compliance with Victorian Workers' Compensation legislation and departmental policies on records, information security, and privacy.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as per legislative and departmental requirements.
  • Build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders.
To be successful for this role you will have: 

  • Previous experience in human resource pay processing.
  • Work effectively in a team and are adept at managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proactive, positive, and process-driven
  • Experience with payroll processes is highly regarded, though workers' compensation experience is not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
